Commit to Negotiate for Mutual Gain.
Those project and program professionals who best manage diversity will be winners. Managing diversity is deciding which differences make a difference and enrich, and which differences don’t. In order to see the benefits of diversity, you will need to learn to understand without judging other groups or individuals and too see people more as individuals and less as members of a group. Understand your own subtle stereotyping and don’t be afraid to boldly make the business case for diversity by demonstrating and modeling how it works.

The biggest changes in personality occurs during childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood because young men and women are somewhat more likely to be open to new ideas. Personality is less likely to change after age 30. Observations from over 10,000 pairs of twins indicate that genetic factors significantly influence personality traits. The mismatch between peoples' personalities and their job doesn't mean that they are unable to do the jobs they are in. It does mean that they are not playing to their strengths and they are likely to find their incompatible jobs more stressful than if they had one more compatible with their personalities. Remember personality can be skewed by what we want to be like or alternatively by what other people have told us we are like.

Personality psychology, also know a personology, is the study of the whole human individual. Humans are very complicated and with so much going on internally and externally, there is a lack of a single unified theory firmly rooted in solid scientific evidence that everyone can agree on. This is why this field of psychology is seen as the least scientific and the most philosophical.
